Dr. El-Dahr earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University and then her medical degree from Thomas-Jefferson University. She completed an internship in Pediatrics at Yale New Haven Hospital and then her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Virginia Health Science Center where she also completed a Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology. Her current research interests include Asthma, as well as the treatment of Autism in children.
Dr. El-Dahr is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatric Rheumatology.
Abstract
Dr. El-Dahr will discuss the basics of a healthy immune system and what types of problems children with autism may have in this area. The focus will be on simple things that may boost immunity and improve the health of the child.
